Appleton
Since its inception
in 1903 as the Appleton Electric Company, EGS has established, maintained, and continued to develop its reputation
as a manufacturer customers can depend on with confidence. In 1982, Appleton became a wholly owned subsidiary
of Emerson Electric Company, a Fortune 100 Company. As a part of Emerson, Appleton continued to invest heavily
in the ongoing upgrading of its manufacturing capabilities, enhancing the ability to service and support customers
across Canada and around the globe. In 1997, Appleton and several other entities joined together to become
EGS.
EGS Electrical Group Canada Ltd. continues to support and strengthen the Appleton brand with
the most complete line of conduit fittings, junction boxes, panel boards, lighting fixtures and marine electrical
products available in Canada. As a major supplier to the petrochemical, oil and gas, pulp and paper, mining
and marine industries, EGS must meet our customers' critical need for Appleton explosion-proof products.

The
continually evolving Appleton product line consists of more than 18,000 products, indicating a breadth-of-line
that keeps pace with changing customer needs while satisfying their demand for convenient and cost-effective
solutions. With an extensive network of distributors, sales specialists, field engineers and technical specialists
across the country, EGS provides quality service to back up a quality product line.
